Jackson Carlisle Jackson Carlisle 6'3" | 270 lbs | DL Tuscaloosa Central | 2026 State AL is an impressive DL from Central Tuscaloosa who’s now ranked as our #48 prospect in the state and #11 DL.
“Carlisle is a force on the line of scrimmage. He explodes off the snap, has quick, violent hands, and can completely overwhelm OL with his size, speed, and strength. It’s seriously impressive seeing how Carlisle wins in the trenches- he has a wide variety of moves he uses to get by offensive linemen, and makes it look effortless.
Once in the backfield, Carlisle is terrific at generating pressure, forcing bad decisions, and taking down the quarterback. He also presents a ton of obstacles against the run- he’s terrific in pursuit and is a great tackler who doesn’t allow for any additional yards after making contact.“
Carlisle had a huge season this past fall and ended up signing with Boston College in December. He’s a great kid with a ton of talent; I’m excited to see how he performs at the next level – we’ll be sure to watch!

Jackson Carlisle Jackson Carlisle 6'3" | 270 lbs | DL Tuscaloosa Central | 2026 State AL is a strong, well-developed DL prospect with some position versatility. He is strong and plays with good leverage, making him tough to move when he anchors and enabling him to punch and rip blockers off-platform. He plays with excellent anticipation skills off the snap, which he pairs with decent enough bend to get underneath blockers and create an angle to the football. He has a bag of arm-over, arm-under, and swipe moves to keep his chest clean and free himself. He is a patient tackler who keeps his eyes up, settles down, and wraps up ball carriers at contact. Carlisle is a high-floor DL prospect who holds some offers.
