When evaluating several of the younger offensive line prospects on Christ School’s roster, I realized how big an impact Cancel makes on games. He’s excellent at avoiding contact in the backfield to pick up positive yardage, and he played the best football of his career toward the end of the regular season.

Cancel was one of the more efficient backs in the state last year, running for over 100 yards a game on just over 15 touches per game. He also scored a touchdown every nine rushes or so, an impressive ratio. He has both good burst through the hole and contact balance to stay close to full speed through contact, and those traits allow him to play with more power than his frame suggests.
