How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Following my freshman season as a varsity starter on both offense (LG) and on defense (DE), I would describe my gameplay style as controlled violence. I play at a high energy level while maintaining balance, strong fundamentals, and leadership.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My mentality is to be as coachable as I can possibly be. My love for the game of football motivates me to work extremely hard both in and out of season. I am a very positive person and thrive on building a bond with my teammates and coaches, while pushing myself to always be moving forward to increase physical and mental toughness.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I received recognition as Academic All-State Honorable Mention by the Wisconsin Wrestling Association.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have volunteered at my local church for several years on community projects. This summer, I have been employed 30 hours per week with a local construction supply business and have learned a new aspect of teamwork and supply chain logistics.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I faced the challenge of starting on varsity on both offense and defense as a freshman. I also competed at the varsity level in wrestling at the heavyweight class. Both situations have taught me humility and perseverance.
What type of college are you looking for?
I'm looking for a college that is a good culture fit my my values and football skills as a lineman, and that meets my academic aspirations to further my education.
