is listed as a tight end, but he played mostly as a wide receiver this past season. He has great size (6’4″) and athleticism as a wide receiver/tight end. His nickname should be Mr. Jump ball. On several plays, Waynesburg Central put Ricciuti on an island as an outside receiver and threw him the ball. He is a match-up nightmare in these situations for a cornerback because of how good he is at catching these jump balls. His game is much more than just doing jump balls, though. He has good hands, and he catches everything. He was even used as a slot receiver and was used in the RPO game, where he sat in the zone and caught the ball. Ricciuti is a talented player in the 2027 class as a tight end of as a wide receiver.

is a traditional Y-TE. He can line up inline, out wide, in the slot, etc. He rocks as a long-speed vertical route runner. His hands are strong, and he has a big, wide catch radius. He offers excellent YAC ability, shown in the very first clip of him breaking off a long TD catch. Ricciuti has the potential to grow as a blocker, but I really love what he offers as a receiving threat. Ricciuti has been one of my personal favorite watches, and he will only add on to the superb film in his junior season.

Updated measurables, 6’4, 200 pounds. Up two inches and 20 pounds since our last update. His frame growth alone should excite any potential early recruiters who have Ricciuti on their boards. 4.0 GPA should excite too. 31 receptions, 500 receiving yards, three scores to his name. Was ranked 35/198, now 95/500.
Turning on Ricciuti’s four-minute Hudl tape, you’ll be met with a bit of a surprising rep right away. A ranked wideout, one who is putting on great weight, is now operating our a three-point stance, at an in-line TE alignment. The rest of Ricciuti’s reps come in traditional wideout alignments, yet I can see a noticeable dip in speed/stride. The gaining of muscle is likely the culprit, watching Ricciuti work now as a sophomore, I’m more inclined to rank him as a TE moving forward. Ricciuti can still stride away and score from talent at this level, yet I’m not sold he could do so against elite HS defenses. Still a fantastic ball catcher, still a wide window he provides QBs to throw into. A vacuum for hands. Ricciuti will still run an occasional deep route, yet we also see him working inside of 20 yards more often. Hitches, seam routes, slants, digs, these are all routes Ricciuti can run and produce at. I’d love to see how Ricciuti stacks up athletically against different competition, it would help alleviate drastic drops on our lists moving forward.

Every football coach in America wants a tall wide receiver with skills to catch the ball and that is exactly who

is. Ricciuti might not be the fastest guy, but he is great-sized and does an excellent job getting open. He runs good routes and does a nice job on 50/50 balls where he uses his size to make catches. He also shows a good ability to catch the ball in traffic. Ricciuti, with an entire off-season of working out, should be even better next year.

Jack’s a 6’3, 190-pound freshman that can go up top and get the ball. He’s very smooth off the line and does a good job restacking on fade routes, and has the speed to take it the distance whenever he receives the ball. Two of his TD catches this season showcased his speed and overall deep-threat capabilities. He runs precise routes and snags the ball out of the air when receiving his passes. His strong hands, coupled with his crisp route-running, are very impressive for only being a freshman in high school. He’s been elusive with the ball in his hands and isn’t afraid to catch the ball in heavy traffic.

I was told to watch out for this freshman out of Waynesburg Central HS. He might be the first WC kid ranked on our site in its history. He’s on the right path after watching his first reps on tape. 6’3, 180 as a freshman, first reps shows off the kid’s ability to come down with difficult catches. A one-handed grab proves the kid has great hand-eye coordination, he isn’t just a big body out there. He towered for a score in the first, his QB giving him a chance in the endzone where Ricciuti easily came down with a catch over a much smaller defender. Love the start of the young man’s career.

Ricciuti is yet another 2027 western Pennsylvania prospect getting a write up today on Prep Redzone Next, this time coming by way of Waynesburg. An hour south of Pittsburgh, Riccuti is a big-bodies receiver at 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds that is inching closer to becoming a dynamic tight end. The soft-handed big man plays his 7v7 ball for PA Elite, one of the top programs in the state. Another thing to really like about Ricciuti is his sneaky athletic ability. In addition to running the 400m and 4x100m, he’s also a high jumper with a PR of 5’7.5″.
