The general COD ability and explosiveness have me bullish on Laurel’s ability to break tackles and gain yardage with ball in-hand at the varsity level, but the size and tools could also make a heckuva off-ball LB on the Big School scene. Whatever capacity the Lakers want to use Laurel in, I’m game for, and I can’t wait to get some film on this kid ASAP.

I know this isn’t a state that sees a ton of attention for our budding underclassmen, but if Laurel was looking and performing like this in a southeastern state, Cali, Michigan, or even Chicago, and he’d be seeing a considerable more amount of collegiate attention.
