The Clarkstown North prospect is one to watch at the WR position. Standing at 6’3″ 195 pounds, he split snaps at both the WR and QB positions leading the North offense in both aspects.
He mainly projects as a WR. In his film, he is a sneaky athlete who creates plays all over the field. He has solid hands and a basic understanding of the route tree. At the QB position he excels in RPO and option plays. He has solid speed and can reach his top speed quickly. After the catch he is elusive and hard to tackle.
Following an All Section 1st Team Nomination last year Kavanagh ranks amongst some of the best prospects in Section One. He is easily a player to watch this fall.

There is an argument Kavanagh could be listed as an ATH as he plays DB and a little QB but I was impressed with his tape at WR and think his best chance as a college prospect is from the WR position. The Clarkstown North WR is a big, physical outside prospect who excels in making contested catches. Kavanagh catches away from his body and showcases strong consistent hands.
