The second team All Mid-Continent league performer was one of the better sophomore running backs in all of the 8-Man ranks this past fall. Standing at 5-foot-11, 185-pounds, the Golden Eagle helped his team to a 4-5 record and a playoff loss to league rival Hill City this past fall.

Conness is a very good athlete and this past season he had 627 yards rushing on 103 carries and 10 touchdowns on the ground. He also pitched in another score through the air. As a linebacker, he had 34 tackles in nine games and recovered one fumble.

He is ranked No. 253 in our state rankings but look for him to make a jump up the rankings as the season unfolds.
