With a 4.0 GPA, and a solid 6’1″ 175-Pound frame, which can add more weight to improve his build. Clawson is an elite Signal Caller, who showcases a true-dual threat ability. He currently holds a Low FCS-D-2 Grade as a signal caller. He showcases elite dual threat capabilities and has good footwork allowing him to become a balanced runner and dominate RPO/Option plays as a QB. His arm talent also showcases his skills as a prospect, as his arm talent can see him carve up the field for big gains. His accuracy is on point as well, and he is able to thread the needle and put good touch and placement on his balls to ensure completions. Anticipation is also what I have seen from his film, as he is bale to predict WR routes, and throw the ball to get them open and allowing only his guys to make a play. Passing the ball was not easy Friday Night, with the wind and rain beating down on the field. Clawson, answered beautifully, using his IG, and Legs to create offense for the Plainsmen.

Clawson has elite speed. He is a deadly ATH, in the Option game, and makes high IQ reads, pulling the ball and taking off. In the passing game, we see a strong arm from Clawson, which pairs nicely with his accuracy, and allows him to sneak the ball into tight windows. He is an amazing Athlete, who has a bright future waiting for him.

Clawson is the leader of the Shenendehowa squad. In the previous matchup, Carter Toth ran all over the Blue Streaks defense. I highly doubt, Coach Hayden allows that to happen again, putting all the pressure on Clawson. He only threw 7 passes in game one, and he will become a major name to watch, if Saratoga Streaks forces him to throw the ball more then they’d like.
