In each of the past three years, our No.1 ranked eighth-grade prospect coming out of middle school has gone on to receive a verbal scholarship offer as a freshman in high school. Though it’s very early, in my mind, Spruill is on that short list of 2029 kids could check that box this year. This marks his third straight year being selected to the All-Delaware Bowl and is coming off an excellent showing in last year’s seventh-grade game, he tallied 6.5 tackles and pick-six as a Linebacker. I expect him to duplicate that and put up big numbers as a Running Back too.
