Jace picked up two offers at the last SDSU prospect camp from the D2 and NAIA level and at the South Dakota prospect camp he jumped an eye-catching 10’0 broad jump, which I feel was the early start to opening up the flood gates, as Jace is now finally up to three offers to play at the next-level. Jace showed off the excellent downhill pursuit angles you want to see on tape from his junior tape, and I feel that get off speed has processed at a higher rate into summer camp season. The 6’0 195 pounder, is one that should move up double-digit spots by our next 2027 rankings update.

Jace already has been a stockriser this spring that will move surely into our top 10 linebackers in this 2027 class out of a Dell Rapids Quarriers program that is going to have a handful of Saturday targets out of that class. The 6’1 200 pounder shows quickly that he is certainly not a linebacker you want to give a free pass into your backfield as he will make you pay for it. In my eyes, Jace is a well-rounded linebacker that shows promising upside in pass coverage and without a doubt is a run-stopper college coaches need to check out at camps this summer.

Jace is another 2027 out of the city of Dell Rapids that I feel is next up to gather more attention on his recruiting trail. He boosts one of the biggest motors you will see amongst linebackers on this list and is a weapon getting to the point of attack no matter where he is lined up in the Quarriers defense showing position flexibility for the LB position at the next-level. He’s a persistent downhll run-stopper that does a great job getting thru tight windows like clockwork and it doesn’t take long to see that Jace is one that has a great football IQ that still has wiggle room to grow even more.

A linebacker that I heard the name a solid amount throughout last season as one that has hit a growth spurt too since last update now playing at 6’0 195 pounds which is ideal for a next-level linebacker especially in a sophomore class. Explosive testing numbers from camp with a 9’6 broad jump and a 35 inch standing vertical. One I hope to get more tape on in the very near future to grow his stock as Jace also plays running back for the Quarriers.
