Izac Cazares Izac Cazares 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Artesia | 2025 State NM has the kind of throwing motion that just looks effortless — smooth, compact, and consistent. From the first drill, his attention to mechanics stood out. Every rep had purpose, every throw mimicked a game situation, and that kind of deliberate approach set him apart. At 6’2″, 180 pounds, he’s got the size and the poise to lead an offense, and his quick whip in his release gives his passes that extra zip to fit them into tight windows. Beyond his mechanics, Cazares is a true dual-threat quarterback, as he showed in Artesia’s state championship game with an 80-yard touchdown run early on. His leadership, precision, and ability to process the game at a high level make him a QB worth keeping an eye on.
