is a complete dawg on defense out of the 2027 class in the state of Georgia. Richardson has the aggressive attack you need and want from a linebacker and a guy who can really go, he’s got a motor and he is a hitting machine. He is even a guy who can standout on the offensive side as a tight end. Richardson is a complete dude and will have a massive 2026 season!

A 2027 linebacker with a lot to like. He is a growing frame, but is a reliable player. He has a college future, but the upcoming season will determine what level, along with where he will be able to attend. He is going to get better and is someone who is already viewed in a great light. I believe he is one of the more underrated linebackers in the country, and because of that, he is only going to improve on and off the field, as he has gotten significantly better every season.

Richardson is a proven linebacker with a lot of talent playing as a Mike. Richardson is only getting better on the field and is a captain for his team. He is also a leader, and that showed this season. I am mostly excited to see how he tests, because I know the talent he brings to the competitive side of things, and that is what has landed him on this list. Richardson is one of my favorites in this competition, and I believe he will be a top performer.

One of the smarter linebackers in the position group. He is a bit undersized, but his IQ is near the top. I have high hopes for the general of the Savannah Christian Prep. Richardson is set for a huge senior season, but before he gets there, he will have a major opportunity to turn some heads at the Prep Redzone Georgia Winter Showcase in front of the college coaches in attendance. Richardson may be the best linebacker on the day if everything goes as he plans, but mainly how the majority of people expect.

One of my underdogs for this event. He has nothing short of large potential, and is one of the better players when it comes to the position and being in attendance, but at the same time, he brings a lot of things that others don’t bring. He is ranked for a reason, although I would debate that he is a bit underrated and that he will be one of the risers following his performance at the camp.

Richardson is the only ranked player on this list, and one could argue that he is quite the underrated prospect anyway. He is someone whom I view as a top option to hold down a QB spy, and I believe he has become a fast enough linebacker to be able to cause some havoc for those who try to scramble. He has held his fair share of tackles, which is what he is most known for despite being undersized. He will be dangerous in his final season, and this will be something to watch moving forward.

A Savannah native who really shined on a weekly basis this fall, Richardson is a disruptive defender who plays fast and can make plays in the backfield. He may be on the smaller side, but he makes up for it with his tenacity and ability to wrap up the ball-carrier. He was a tackling machine this season as a junior, making 99 tackles, five TFLs and three sacks while forcing one fumble. He’s one of the more productive 2027 defenders in the region and was an easy addition to the latest update. He’s now ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 42 LB prospect in the state for his class.

An instinctual defender who plays hard and takes correct angles to the ball-carrier, Richarson is an impressive junior who can fight his way through traffic and make a play. One of the top 2027 defenders in the region, Rochardson is having an extremely productive junior season where he’s made 84 tackles. He’s a consistent, dependable defender who can read the run and make a big tackle. He’s made at least eight tackles in seven games and has hit the 10+ tackle mark four times. As strong as he’s played so far this season, Richardson should be even better next year as a senior.

Another South Georgia linebacker who may be undersized but plays hard and knows how to tackle properly, Richardson is a Savannah native who is quickly becoming one of the more consistent 2027 linebackers in the area. Through his first five games, Richardson has made 44 tackles and two TFLs with one sack. He’s smart, reacts quickly, and is technically sound when wrapping up and making a play on the ball-carrier. He’s made at least eight tackles in four of his first five games and could see some possible D1 interests and possible options come his way in the winter with a big season this fall.
