Having a standout season last year, and putting in the work over the offseason, Mulusa has gone full speed ahead into this season and has seen that work pay off. Having the athletic frame and tools for both the guard and tackle position, combined with the intensity that he always play with, it will be exciting to see him grow and develop over the next couple of years. Having a ranking within his position group, I would expect that number to steadily climb throughout the season.

While being listed as both a tackle and a guard, his abilities definitely make tackle make that his primary, with a quick step to chop his feet and pull around the line. He also does a great job fighting with his hands to get and keep them inside of the defenders, and a natural sense of where to move his hips to stay and better control his defender.

Mulusa at 6’2 240 pounds, has a frame that as he continues to mature he will get stronger. Isayah is a skill full player with excellent technique, he get his hands in proper placement when he delivers his punch, he has good arm length and his footwork put him in position to set up to arrive at engagement with violence. Mulusa moved well during the drill portion of the showcase, showing quick feet with good lateral quickness. Mulusa is a prospect to keep an eye on as he progresses over at Lake Ridge High School.
