The junior QB out of Duluth has had some serious bright spots this season and has lit up the stat sheet on more than one occasion. His 6’3″ frame is every bit a problem for defenses, and he’s quickly approaching dual-threat territory in terms of his play style. He does a great job of stepping up in the pocket as it collapses, and has shown multiple times that he can let a big pass rip under pressure. He’s capable of delivering a strike while getting rocked as well. On the ground, Emerson is a hard-nosed runner who doesn’t hesitate to lower his shoulder. He’s having a breakout season of sorts, and a quarterfinal win for the Greyhounds would be huge for their program.

If you’re a lovely subscriber of our site, then you’ve heard the name Isaac Emerson Isaac Emerson 6'3" | ATH Duluth East | 2028 MN . PrepRedzoneMN is a big fan of the Duluth East big-bodied QB/ATH’s game, skill set, and projection to the college ranks.

Emerson reports to be 6’3.5″, 215 lbs., and his Week 1-4 highlights open with a Big Ben-esque scramble that saw him eat and work through two big tackle attempts, then spin and work left, scan the field, and whip the ball back across his body to put good ball on the money to his wide-open receiver right outside the end zone. Emerson displays a big arm that can stretch the field vertically and with impressive touch, as well as generate noticeable and effective velocity and zip on throws to the first and second level of the field.

Emerson is an F150 of a ball carrier who shows some twitch and some get-up when toting the rock on designed runs or scrambles. Contact balance, burst that can get a full head of steam quickly, and will run behind his pads. PRZMN will be watching this 218 product’s recruitment very closely in the coming months.
