It’s one thing to be big, fast and strong (which Ike is all of those) but it’s another thing to understand the game within the game. He has a deep bag of tools, and he completely knows when and where to use them. He knows how to set up the speed-to-power moves, he knows how to figure out a tackles weakness quickly and has the ability to exploit it until he can be stopped. I absolutely love Ike’s game and the way he has become a complete student of the game. This is a “Saturday Guy” in the making, and I think this fall he will show his full array of skill.

Ike is a kid that is built exactly how you would want an edge to be built. He is strong and play’s with excellent leverage. I am also impressed with Ike’s motor , he never gives up on a play and on multiple occasions run’s ball carriers down from the backside. I like how ike keeps his pad level down but plays with his head up to see things develop in front of him. Freeland has had a strong tradition of producing good football players and ike appears to be the next man up on that group.

Ike has the frame to become an absolute monster. His highlights show an EDGE guy that can get off the ball, and work his way free to make plays both against the run and against the pass. He is able to rip and use his hands to keep the blockers at bay. Once he gets into the backfield, he has the motor to chase down the ball. He’s a non-stop EDGE who makes life difficult on all downs and situations. Great potential to blossom into a D1 guy.
