Expert Analysis
Connor Darby | Prep Redzone Scout
Wells made an impact on both sides of the ball as Hood River Valley held off Hillsboro 35-28. The sophomore QB/ATH rushed for 104 yards and three touchdowns, giving the Eagles a major boost with his legs. Wells wasn’t finished there, making perhaps his biggest play of the game on defense with a 77-yard interception return for a touchdown. His four total touchdowns helped Hood River Valley survive a close contest and secure the victory. Very impressive for a sophomore.
