Even before Coach Overton took over FBS schools were after him furiously, I can see why he committed to the Navy when he did so he would limit the distractions. My co-worker Cole Laing came away very impressed after his showcase performance:
Ian has been no stranger to us at Prep Redzone, but this was the first time I was able to see him live, and he did not disappoint. He is a dominant EDGE defender who is quick with his initial steps. He faced our top Offensive Tackles several times and was able to create pressure on every rep I saw. This weekend proved that he should be on the radars of college coaches. He will be a key piece to a dominant defense this fall at Hayfield, and I expect to see him being a big part of their success
