Most of Ian’s highlights come inside the tackles. 0:52 is a great example. Ian patiently waits for the counter run to develop and explodes through the opening. He then tries to win the edge and gets forced out of bounds by the corner. 1:14 is similar- an off-tackle run, some patience, and big yardage.

Ian is a high-volume running back who had an excellent sophomore season. Generally, Ian shows great flashes of vision. More than a few excellent, patient runs. In order to reach the next step, Ian should work on his speed. Faster plus an ounce better contact balance would transform Ian into a college prospect.
