I recall in the live eval last summer at the SDSU prospect camp that Hunter Peterson Hunter Peterson 6'3" | 225 lbs | TE Watertown | 2027 State SD was going to be my new TE2 in the 2027 class and so far, the D1s have taken notice as Air Force is Hunter’s second FBS offer that came in this week. What I vividly remember from camp, is Hunter was the best run-blocker I saw all-day in Brookings at the tight end position and he can do more than just that. He’s got smooth hands, great vision in the open field, and great speed in the open field. Surely one that I expect more FCS and FBS to come soon.
