He has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, jumping, and good change of direction. Good release at the line of scrimmage paired with very good separation quickness. Good ball tracking and catching. He has very good ball adjustment and body control. Does a great job high pointing the ball in contested situations. Smooth and controlled back pedal as a DB with fluid hips to match the receiver breaking into the route. Very good timing on pass break ups and closing quickness. Hershfeldt is an exciting player that I’m looking forward to seeing more of!

Hershfeldt stole the spotlight at the PrepRedzone Combine Series by earning WR MVP honors, and it’s clear why. A true all-purpose threat, Hershfeldt racked up over 450 receiving yards and 200 rushing yards last season, highlighted by explosive 60+ yard plays. His top end speed and quick twitch athleticism make him a dangerous open field weapon. He’s the kind of player who can flip the momentum on a single touch. With more exposure and another strong offseason, he could cement himself as one of the state’s most exciting prospects. If he hits the circuit again next year, expect his stock to skyrocket.

Hershfeldt was dominate throughout the event. Winning MVPs honors for the wide receivers. Hershfeldt has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, good jumping, and change of direction. He showcased his quick feet and elusiveness throughout the drills. In 7 v 7 , he demonstrated his very good catching. Extending his arms, and plucking the ball out of the air with his suction hands. Held onto the ball with contact as well. Very good ball tracking skills. Watch out for Hunter!!

Hershfeldt captured the Wide Receiver MVP after an impressive day. He showed quickness in and out of his breaks, efficiently getting his head around to locate the football. During one on ones, Hershfeldt ran smooth routes, consistently creating separation, and plucked the ball out of the air with confidence. He turned in a strong and consistent performance throughout the day, with little to no drops, solidifying his place as one of the top receivers at the event.

Hershfeldt turned heads with a standout performance, hauling in eight receptions for 144 yards and consistently moving the chains. As the go-to receiver, Hershfeldt’s precise route running and reliable hands made him a safety net for his quarterback. Though he didn’t find the end zone, his presence forced defenses to shift their focus, creating opportunities for his teammates to shine. His ability to adjust to the ball in the air and outmaneuver defenders makes him a consistent threat in the passing game. Hershfeldt’s knack for creating mismatches will make him a key weapon for Sterling as they face stronger defenses in the next round.
