I’m really excited to watch Philbrick in 7-on-7s. He’s got some super creative plays behind the LOS, he’s got athleticism to run away from defenders, and is able to throw on the run accurately and from uncomfortable arm angles. He can air the ball out and likes to attack downfield. He’s a gamer, and I’m excited to see him in a game setting surrounded by other fantastic athletes. He’s got a unique opportunity to separate himself from the competition when the 7-on-7 portion starts.

Philbrick, is a playmaker who holds an Elite 11 invite, and in this hypothetical situation with me as the boss, he would still earn one. At 6’3″ 210-Pounds, his frame is outstanding for the position, and he displays an elite pocket presence. The Ward Melville prospect, displays a tight spiral, with a quick motion that allows him to push the ball downfield. Philbrick, also displays elite accuracy, along with good arm strength on his throws, and solid footwork inside and outside the pocket. With an Offer from Syracuse, Philbrick is poised for a major Senior Season.

. The Long Island Signal Caller, is receiving college interests already, and recently picked up a Syracuse offer. He has an outstanding frame for the QB position, and easily should be playing at the D1 Level.
In myself and Nick’s Opinion, Philbrick has the best release in the 2027 QB class. He has exceptional vision, and elite arm strength which seems to come naturally, and allow off balance throws to seem natural. He has extensive processing ability, and can run the RPO scheme with ease. Philbrick has seen a steady rise in the rankings for a good reason.

Philbrick announced through his twitter, he will be visiting Cornell today. The 2027 QB will be a huge riser this season, and displays a strong arm, along with good accuracy and a High IQ. Philbrick will explode this season, and for good reason, as he is extremely talented.

Philbrick’s got the best release of all the guys on this list. It’s quick, it generates easy velocity, it allows him to throw off platform. He’s got easy arm strength. His best trait besides his release is his vision. He’s got a knack for keeping his eyes downfield, keeping plays alive, and being able to make things happen when there looks like there’s nothing. Even when he’s not extending the play, he’s able to spot tough, still open, windows downfield at an advanced level for his age. He’s got some twitch in open space. Able to work in the RPO game which shows advanced processing ability.
