About Hezekiah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My style on the offensive line is all about strength and precision. I work hard to create big gaps for our running backs and give our quarterback enough time to make plays. On the defensive line, I'm all about aggression and speed, always aiming to pressure the quarterback and stop the run. I pride myself on outworking and outsmarting my opponents every play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'd describe my mentality as determined and focused. When I set a goal, I work hard to achieve it, whether it's in sports, academics, or personal projects. I'm also very supportive and always try to lift up those around me. My personality is pretty outgoing—I love meeting new people and making connections. I think staying positive and being open to new experiences really helps me grow.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the years, I've developed strong teamwork skills by always making sure my teammates are giving 100 percent each and every play. I've learned how to motivate others and lead by example, which has helped me become a better leader both on and off the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had an injury the first year of wrestling. It was tough mentally and physically to get into the swing of things. I bounced back mid season and was one match away from going downstate. This year I was able to make up for lost time in wrestling and made it down state!

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that will challenge me to be better and help me develop as a leader. I want a school that offers strong business programs, especially ones focused on entrepreneurship, so I can learn how to build my own brand. It's also important that the college supports student-athletes like myself, providing both athletic opportunities and academic flexibility.
