Eber, a prospect from Salisbury who is a native New Yorker, is a player I missed in our first edition of checking in on these NY prospects out of state, but he has had a very strong spring. The Salisbury DE has picked up offers from 15 D1 offers in 2024, and the most recent is from Elon, which he picked up earlier this month.

While Eber could be on this list for the Elon offer, he just announced his commitment to Georgetown, where he will join Diallo in the nation’s capital. The Hoyas already have 6 N.Y. natives on their roster and will add two more from NY.

rn2025 attends Salisbury School in Connecticut. “Eber is a rising stand-out DL with a promising road ahead. He is known for his size, speed, and physicality combination that creates havoc in the opponents offenses. He stands at 6’5” 240lbs and can move and bend well. On June 4, 2023, he announced he had reclassified at the Salisbury School into the class of 2025.

This 2023 fall season, he was nominated several times as a weekly top performer. His season performances caught the attention of NEPSAC and ISL coaches. He was awarded 1st team All-League honors and 2nd team All NEPSAC honors for his 2023 performance efforts.

He is a prospect name that surfaced during the 2023 season and was not included in our last updated rankings release.

He has physical measurables that align with the Div-1 FBS power 5 college-level DL prospects. He is projected to spark additional college football interest after his great junior season of play.

He had 8 sacks, 44 solo tackles, and 17 tackles for losses during his season play. His season play earned him recognition as Honorable Mention All Northeast Prep Football Conference honors.rnSeen as a defensive player at the next level, he doesn’t over pursue when coming off the edge. He does a good job, breaking down when attacking the backfield. He shows good strength with his power rush off the edge. He tackles with a wrap and roll technique and extreme physical aggression. Has a motor and continuous pursuit to the football while playing to the whistle. Has length in his frame. College interest will likely pick up spring 2023 and through the summer camp season as he continues to develop.
