His game projects well to programs looking for a dependable, high-volume runner.

He has enough burst to hit the second level when lanes open. Hatton consistently gains positive yardage and keeps the offense on schedule. He shows toughness in short-yardage situations. Hatton projects as a dependable early-down back with upside.

Hatton is explosive out of the backfield- he’s quick on his feet, has a great burst of speed, and can turn upfield for huge gains on the ground. Hatton is highly elusive and can easily make defenders miss in the open field, helping him create huge plays out of the backfield whether it’s a run or pass.

Hatton is just as productive out wide. He’s a talented route runner who finds tons of separation at every level of the field and has the hands to be a reliable pass catcher in his offense.

Last fall, Hatton ended his sophomore year with 1400 all-purpose yards and 9 total TDs.
