Linsly will lean on 2027 OL Hayden Ward to anchor its offensive line this fall after another year of steady development. Ward put together a solid junior season at offensive tackle after flashing plenty of upside when we saw him in person before the season. There’s still physical development ahead, but the athleticism and foundation are there for him to keep climbing as a college prospect. After a busy offseason on the camp circuit, he’s in position for a strong senior campaign for the Cadets and a name to know.

We got to see him perform in person at a camp before his junior season and liked the potential and upside he showcased. Ward needs continued physical development for a college offensive line prospect, but the other tools are there for him to continue to mold into a future offer-worthy athlete.

A 2027 prospect from Linsly that I wasn’t familiar with before the camp but caught my eye was DL Hayden Ward Hayden Ward 6'1" | 235 lbs | OL/DL Linsly | 2027 State WV . He saw reps on both sides of the line, but with his 6’3 210 frame, I see his future as a defensive end prospect where he flashed a lot of upside. During 1-on-1s, Ward was raw but is very quick off the line with power behind his quickness as well. Once he develops his hand use to help in block shed, Ward will develop into a very good DE with he potential to make his name known over the next two seasons.
