A ton of early season production. An 80 yard kick return on the first play of the game last week initially caught my attention on Twitter. He finished with more than 200 all purpose yards on top of a sack and nearly 10 tackles in what turned into a blowout win for Blackhawk High School.

He has recorded a sack in pretty much every game this season, all while maintaining a serious role on offense and special teams. He is making our current ranking look justified, as I would view him as a high level Division II target if he were a senior right now. More performances like his last one would have me inclined to elevate him into the fringe Division I conversation, although I need to see more as the season progresses before I can justify that notion.

I’m waiting to see a first three game tape before I feel good about a potential in season ranking boost. I’m also intrigued by his current grades, 40 time and weight room numbers, as those will help me better understand his complete profile.

Hayden Magill Hayden Magill PA is a versatile player in the 2028 class. On defense he is an outstanding linebacker. He excels at reading his keys then making the right play. He does an excellent job of flying around and making plays. He is especially a good tackler. Then on offense he is a true playmaker. He played as running back, wildcat quarterback and fullback. He is a good runner that is hard to tackle. He is an excellent runner between the tackles with his physical style. Then as a lead blocker he shows a fearless ability to block. Magill is a talented player on both sides of the ball.
