How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Although I'm able to escape the pocket with above average speed and quickness (repeat 55meter / 100 meter track 1st place finishes), I still take pride in reading coverages and completing passes downfield with a quick release. Pre-snap reads then completing accurate passes is an obvious strength at this stage, even as I play against 8th and 9th graders while still in 7th.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
Very confident and aware not afraid to be the first in line or lead a group. If I make a mistake, I need to work on forgetting and moving on.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
4.0 Honor Roll Student, School Spelling Bee Champion (2020, 2021, 2022), Beta Club Vice President, 4-H Club President, 2x Academic Bowl Captain, County "Young Authors Writing Contest" Award Winner, Lead in School Play (2022)
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I only expected to play a little this past season but then won the starting QB job as a 7th grader among 8th graders, I had to rely on staying focused on leading by example with preparation for each game. Now I'm a confident leader among older and same age teammates. Especially now that we won the championship!
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Football wise, I'm still growing as a 7th grader so size and height are obstacles, but I'm proud that I could rely on football IQ and training to help me be confident and face those challenges. I'm thankful that I haven't had to overcome largely significant challenges in life.
What type of college are you looking for?
One that will align with my future profession, whatever that may be. Along with a great program with potential for growth and wins!
