About Harlem
Expert Analysis
Zack Reyes | Prep Redzone Scout
Harris picked up a D-II offer from Western New Mexico early in December. The 5’8″/165 slot-utility playmaker was a top performer for both RB and WR positions at the PRZ CA Showcase back in April and went on to lead Helix in receiving this season with 432 yards and 6 TDs on 28 catches. He’s a quick, twitchy receiver that can create separation underneath and shows his speed after the catch. Harris is one of the most versatile and underrated prospects still available in San Diego’s 2025 class.

Harris is a very explosive two-way athlete that can play anywhere from on the outside, in the slot or in the backfield for Helix. He has good downfield speed to create seperation, and is a true deep threat with outstanding ball skills over the top, strong hands in traffic and can run a variety of different routes and excels against man coverage.
Harris checks into our WL rankings and does not currently hold any offers, but is a no brainer D3+ player at the next level that should gather college interest/roster spot opportunities through his Senior season.

Harris showed his versatility working out with the RBs and earning MVP of the group before running routes out of the slot in 1v1s. He proved to be a tough cover with his 4.4-speed and quick, explosive lateral burst out of his breaks. He’s a nightmare matchup for bigger safeties and OLBs in 1v1 situations and has the body control to quickly adjust on short, underneath routes. Harris should be a versatile contributor on offense for Helix in the fall.

Harris showed his dynamic versatility earning MVP of the RB group and top performer honors among the WRs. He’s a quick, compact athlete at 5’7″/155 with the twitch and agility to separate as a route-runner and make defenders miss with the ball in his hands. He showed speed running in the low 4.4s in both of his 40s and finished among the top of each testing category among both the RB and WR groups. Harris’ offensive versatility should prove valuable to a Helix offense looking to replace the production and playmaking of one of the top RBs in the county last season- Kevin Allen Kevin Allen 5'11" | 185 lbs | RB Helix | 2024 State CA III. Harris offers potential to be a breakout senior in San Diego this fall.
