How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Aggressive, full throttle, don't settle for less. As a Tight End you have to be able to transition from blocking as if an extra offensive lineman to being a wide receiver to blocking in the backfield. When I am on the field, I am hungry and ready to do what is needed to make my team successful.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
An incredibly hard worker who puts in the extra effort on a daily basis but still finds a way to relax and enjoy the little things in life. I love working out and perfecting my craft, just as I love to fish and spend time with those that matter the most to me. I can seperate the two easily. When it's time to do my job on the field or the weightroom, I'm locked in.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have been team captain on two Rec-All Star baseball teams as well as on my Middle School football team. I helped lead the baseball teams to runner-Up in the Dizzy Dean 14u World Series and Final Four in the USSSA 14u Rec All Star World Series. I also helped lead the Middle School football team to Runner-Up in the County Championship. I enjoy giving back to the younger athletes through sports.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
The first Rec All Star baseball team I was on was when I was 12. I did not have a starting position but worked my way into the starting lineup through hard work and extra work. I then made key big plays to help my team win the USSSA 12u Rec All Star World Series.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a college to challenge me athletically and academically to prepare me for life after football. I am interested in the fields of Engineering, Finance, and Business. As far as football goes, I want a program that will challenge me to be the best Tight End everyday. I believe in the phrase, Iron Sharpens Iron!
