Boraas has quickly evolved into an out-state prospect that I’m a big fan of. He’s been a do-it-all athlete for Zumbrota-Mazeppa, taking on the mantle of a QB1 and maintaining a forceful presence on the defensive side of the ball. He finished Week 6 with an impressive 116 rushing yards on 19 carries with a TD to boot, but also racked up 17 total tackles and an interception on defense. On his plentiful 2026 tape, Boraas proves to be a nasty runner. He’s a big and powerful QB, and when he lowers his shoulder, he can send defenders flying. He’s fast for his size too, capable of taking small gains into big chunk plays downfield. On defense, he can stonewall backs at the point of contact and does a nice job of flowing downhill. He’s got a lot of WIAC eyes on him for a reason.
Hadyn was another Minnesota 2027 in attendance that I thought flashed in a few different positon groups on Thursday afternoon in Menomonie at the UW-Stout Prospect Camp. The first reps I watched out of Hadyn was with the quarterback group, in which he showed off as one of the top-tier quarterbacks in that group with his quick release, good ball placement that especially popped out on short and intermediate routes. However, the positon fit that I feel makes the most sense next-level wise is at the linebacker positon, as the reps Hadyn put together there were some of the best I saw amongst the linebackers in attendance. His ability to not only attack the hip with well-versed pursuit angles along the edges but add ample physicality on every rep he took with the linebacker group leads further to our projection for Hadyn in the LB spot at the next-level. He was one of very few prospects that caught my attention in muliple position groups which is hard to do in a prospect camp setting. He currently holds just one WIAC offer so far from Stout’s biggest rival from the “War on I-94”.
