About Gregory
Expert Analysis
Jonathan Davalos | Prep Redzone Scout
Gregory really caught my attention at the Next Combine with his high ceiling and natural playmaking ability. He has an athletic build and is the kind of quarterback who can turn a broken play into a big gain. His ball placement and timing across the middle were on point, and he showed he can escape the pocket quickly without sacrificing accuracy. A shifty runner with solid instincts, Gregory will be even more dangerous as he continues to add size to his frame.

- Future High School: Camden High School
- Attending his first PRZ Next Combine
- Another prospect that I fully expect use this event as an opportunity to essentially arrive on the high school scene. Mobile QB with pretty good size and a knack for making some very impressive plays, look mundane.

Just like several other 2029 prospects in this write up, I’m not sure if slapping a label of “dual-threat” is a good move considering the future, but it fits the bill right now. Bottomline,
Gregory Wyche Jr.

is a Quarterback to know in New Jersey. His throwing motion looks effortless and he plays the game with a high football IQ, based off what I’ve seen. He knows when to stand in the pocket, when to roll out, when to take off or when to simply eat the football. Wyche Jr. helped lead the Rancocas Valley Hurricanes to a 9-1 record season and there was more than one designed run and/or RPO play in the playbook for Wyche Jr. Keep an eye here.

Whyce’s best skill-set is his dual threat ability, and more importantly, the fear that it puts in the defense. His speed makes defenders have to keep an eye on him, but if they lose tract of their assignment, Wyche has no issue firing a pass behind them to a wide open wide out. Wyche has great arm strength, being his best when making a quick decision and spinning a perfect pass. Wyche’s combination of passing and running talent makes him a nightmare to deal with for any team, and that will only get worse as he ages and continues to hone his craft.
