A versatile defensive lineman with the size, athleticism, and skill set to impact a college-level defense both off the edge and inside the line. At 6’2″ and 245 pounds, he combines a strong blend of strength, quickness, and natural movement skills that allow him to disrupt plays from multiple positions. He possesses explosive initial quickness, allowing him to beat blockers off the snap, and lateral agility to redirect and chase down ball carriers effectively. His ability to bend around the edge and maintain leverage in tight spaces makes him a constant threat in pass-rush situations. A physical, aggressive body tackler, he initiates contact with good forward momentum and finishes. His football instincts and high motor enable him to anticipate plays and make impact stops in both the run and pass game. Picked up his initial offer from South Florida.
Holland is the next great up and coming edge rusher across the region and already has a strong build, stout frame and elite athletic abilities for his size with plenty of growth potential and a high upside as he moves through his prep career. He plays with heavy hands, natural bend around the corner and can collapse the pocket quickly while winning with power at the POA. He is a great open field tackler, changes direction well and is fluid in space while stout against the run and does a good job with gap integrity and taking on drives/doubles. He checks into our update as a top 25 overall player in the class and top 2 at his position.
