Vaughn is one of the most explosive two-way players across southern California and holds 9 FBS offers from around the country. He is a extremely physical corner with elite man cover abilities, excels in press coverage and has natural hip fluidity in transition with outstanding ball skills. He shows he can break quickly to ball carriers and is excellent in run support while packing a punch upon contact and is extremely physical out on the perimeter. Heading into his Junior season for Baldwin Park, he should have another stellar year on both sides of the ball and his commitment is one to watch over the next couple years.

Great two-way prospect at WR and DB for Baldwin Park. He’s got a long frame at 6’1” 175 lbs. with natural athleticism and playmaking ability. At WR, he comes hard off the ball with a strong drive phase to close space and eat up the DB’s cushion. Does a good job forcing them to transition before he makes his break. Like his tracking and adjustment ability with the ball in the air. At the catch point he extends and is aggressive to the ball with his hands. Possesses a large catch radius that wins him a lot of 50/50 balls. Can use his speed in combination with his high point ability to stretch the field and be a deep threat. Understands how to use his body to box out defenders and create positional leverage to make a play on the ball. Highly recruitable on both sides with good upside and potential as he develops. Offered by Colorado State, North Alabama, and Delaware State thus far.

Dahriyon is a speedy two-way athlete coming out of the talent factory state of California. Playing both wideout and defensive back, Dahriyon proves that he can do pretty much anything on the football field. At wideout, Dahriyon has the speed to blow the top off of any coverage and any defensive back. Along with that, Dahriyon has no problem high pointing passes and bringing them down for completions. As a defensive back, Dahriyon shows off his ball skills when he is defending in coverage. With his experience at wideout, Dahriyon plays defensive back like he is a receiver. He does a great job tracking with the quarterback, and if the ball is thrown his way, you better expect that his is going to make a play on the ball. Dahriyon’s tape was a lot of fun to watch, and I am expecting a very bright future in football for Dahriyon. He’s already beginning to get a tase of the next level, having visited USC already.
