I want to keep the love for the big boys going, but this time, this XL athlete is sprinting, not throwing! Stewartville’s stud 2025 DL Graysen Schneider is making his own case to qualify for the “freak” status during this 2024 outdoor season, as the rising senior posted an 11.56 100M time at 250 pounds! That folks, is moving for a big boy, and I’m hoping he can improve upon that time at some point during the rest of the track season. We’ve broken down Schneider and his game often enough for the PRzMN site, but this is a nice added wrinkle to his already eye-popping athleticism that shows up both on tape and in person. Twitch, bend, power, first step, technique, he’s a productive and athletic pass-rusher with a solid build and a great head on his shoulders, and I’m hoping this track time, as well as the rest of his accomplishments from the winter and spring, can keep his recruiting momentum going. Montana State, UC-Davis, NDSU, and Northern Illinois have all offered in the last month, and more offers are coming!

From start to finish of Session I, Graysen proved to be one of the premier talents. The junior has a strong frame that is now up to 240 lbs. The DL generates impressive burst out of his stance allowing him to quickly cover ground out of his stance and win with speed around the edge. The junior also has developed impressive body control and bend that he demonstrated in the agility testing as well as the 1 vs 1 battles. He was able to change pad level and dip underneath the big OTs. Graysen also showed that he could change his rush path mid-rush. The numbers are just as impressive at the drills and 1 vs 1s. Schneider ran  4.78 40, had an 8’11” broad jump, and 4.56 shuttle time. It was a dominant showing for one of MN’s best.

There have been nothing but rave reviews coming out about Stewartville’s stud DE Graysen Schneider since he was a freshman, and in every setting he’s been put in he has performed and impressed. Schneider checks a ton of boxes you want to see in a rising junior DE/EDGE, as the 6’3, 235 lber. passes the eye test with flying colors, has posted verified athletic numbers that impress and are worthy of the highest levels of CFB (including at our very own showcase), reports a 305 lb. bench press, was productive as an underclassman (37 tackles, 9 TFLs, 8 sacks as a sophomore), and has balled out at multiple, high-level offseason camps this summer. 2023 is his for the taking, and in 2022 he displayed a skillset of a top-end pass-rusher going into his junior year that includes a great get-off, twitch, speed, bend, power, and a nuanced pass-rushing arsenal that can beat blocking attempts in a ton of different ways. His excellent change of direction skills make him very comfortable in space, his speed helps him pursue and close with eye-catching velocity, and he thrives in the physicality aspect of the world’s great game. Schneider is competitive, high-energy, determined, and brings an athletic toolbox that is extremely disruptive and frankly dominance at the prep level. He moved from right outside the Top 10 (#11) to inside the Top 5 (#4) at Monday’s 2025 update. If he can continue to retain his athleticism and explosiveness as he gets bigger he’ll be one of the highest-touted prospects in Minnesota’s 2025 class. 2023 is looking like the Year of the Tiger!
