Altuner is an edge defender who wins a lot of his reps with quickness, outside speed, and active hands. He’s a constant threat coming off the edge and uses effective hands to clear blocks corner, and finish plays. Multiple sacks on his highlights are the result of beating tackles wide. I like the effort Altuner shows agains the run as well, often shedding blocks quickly to make stops. His effective hand usage is evident on some of the plays where he’s lined up inside and uses hand swipes to beat guards and make plays near the line. Of course, it’s always great to see a scoop and score on film for a lineman. Overall, he’s a high-motor edge defender who creates a lot of disruption with both his speed rush ability and hand fighting.
