Adamson is another exciting two-way player on this list. He measures in at 6’0 155-pounds playing WR/DB. Last season, he had 36 receptions for 540 yards with 4 touchdowns, 14 total tackles (11 solo, 3 assisted), 1 pick 6, 5 PD, and 2 FF. Adamson has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, jumping, and good change of direction. Good release paired with very good separation quickness. Quick bursts of acceleration to outrun the DB. Very good ball tracking and catching paired with very good body control and ball adjustment skills. Strong hands to pluck the ball out of the air. Keeps both feet in bounds on sideline catches. He has made some impressive 1-handed catches. He gains yards after the catch due to his juke moves and shiftiness. I firmly believe he will boost his stock with an impressive camp season!

He had 36 catches for 540 yards with 4 touchdowns, 14 total tackles (11 solo, 3 assisted), 1 INT returned for a TD, 5 PD, and 2 FF. Adamson has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, jumping, and good change of direction. Good release against both off coverage and press jam. Very good separation quickness. What sets Adamson apart is his catching ability. Very good ball tracking and catching. He’s made some crazy 1-handed catches including a pick 6. Very good body control and adjustment. Electric with the ball in his hands, jukes DB’s after the catch. As a DB, he has good read and reaction speed. Good back pedal with very good closing quickness. He’ll rip the ball out of the wideout’s hands too. Adamson is a highlight reel catcher, and colleges should look his way for a reliable receiver.
Adamson showed out at both wide receiver and defensive back. He has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, change of direction, and good jumping. Adamson had the fastest L-drill time at the event amongst all players. Throughout the drills, his quick feet were on full display. Stay stride for stride with WRs during the 7 v 7s. Adamson has good closing quickness, allowing him to get some PBUs during the event. Good ball tracking skills. Very good in zone coverage due to his reactionary skills. Good in man. Adamson showcased his versatility at the event, and will continue to do so going into the season. Keep an eye on Grant!
Adamson ran crisp, technically sound routes and regularly gained separation with sharp breaks. He was effective in one on ones and 7 on 7s, using his vertical ability to high point the football and come down with tough catches. With strong hands and body control, Adamson showed the makings of a consistent downfield threat. He’s a receiver who can win both on timing routes and in contested catch situations.
Adamson is a do it all athlete with the tools to impact games in all three phases. On defense, he’s a fast reacting defensive back who can come downhill and tackle in space. As a receiver, Adamson flashes soft hands and explosiveness after the catch, making him a threat to churn out explosive plays. On special teams, he’s a field flipping returner with excellent vision and acceleration. With his versatility and playmaking ability, Adamson is poised for a breakout year and should be firmly on radars moving forward.
