In what was an otherwise challenging 2025 season at Oskaloosa, Kennedy made a mark on both sides of the line of scrimmage. As an offensive lineman, the junior registered five pancakes. He came up with 20.5 tackles, 10 of which were solo stops. Kennedy posted 2.0 tackles for loss, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble. His 11th-grade highlight video lends insight into how he achieves success. The inside man on a three-player D-Line, Kennedy absorbs blocks and uses active hands and power in disengaging to drop ball carriers running his way. He fires off of the snap, moves well laterally to make plays and keeps his head on the ball. On offense, those traits also work well as does his strength in the base. Kennedy wins battles in close with that power and also gets set up quickly in pass protection, where he operates with balance and slick footwork.
