We are thrilled to announce Grady Gallagher Grady Gallagher 5'10" | 200 lbs | RB Rutland | 2026 New E of Rutland HS as the 2025 Gatorade Player of the Year for Vermont! The talented 5-foot-10, 180-pound senior showcased extraordinary skill and determination throughout the season, leading his team to a Division I state semifinal appearance.
Gallagher, an instinctive runner, combined patience with power, rushing for an impressive 1,066 yards and 12 touchdowns. His ability to navigate the second level with precision was unmatched, and he consistently delivered tough yards when it mattered most.
Beyond his offensive prowess, Gallagher excelled defensively, tallying 134 tackles, three interceptions, and a defensive touchdown. His versatility also shined in special teams, contributing 441 return yards and two additional touchdowns. A 2025 First Team All-State selection at both running back and outside linebacker, Gallagher has certainly made a mark in Vermont football.
