I really like Eastern-Greentown quarterback Gibson Eagle’s ability to throw on the move. Throws a nice, accurate deep ball and hits receivers in stride. He is a proven dual-threat quarterback, which college coaches want in a gunslinger. He is a legit dual-threat who can make plays with his legs. He totaled 2,726 yards last season with 12 touchdowns; bigger things are in store for 2026. Had just four interceptions.

Eagle is going into his second year as the starter after a solid sophomore campaign. He completed 58% of his throws for 2,590 yards and 23 touchdowns with 9 interceptions. He’s willing to stand in and take a hit to make a throw. He’s accurate downfield and doesn’t get antsy in the pocket. The arm strength is still coming along, but that will improve with time. With a full season already under his belt, Eagle should be even more efficient and in command of the offense this fall.
