Offensive Evaluation: A lean-framed player with the prototype slot-receiver size. Papanikolaou has the versatility to line up out wide and in the slot. He gets a clean release off the line, allowing him to separate against man coverage. He is a polished route runner who can run the entire tree, instinctively seeking out soft spots in zone coverage. He has a tremendous catch radius, especially when he climbs up the ladder for catches. He catches the ball with strong, sticky hands and determined concentration. His shiftiness is on full display when he gains yardage after the catch.

Defensive Evaluation: A rangy player who can fly around the field, make plays on the ball carrier as a tackler, and track a deep ball like a hawk.
