Gehrig is a signal caller with good pocket naviagation and he has a quick delivery. He does a good job of extending plays, which allow his receivers additional time to get open. He does well with off-platform throws and does well in and out of structure. He has good accuracy and when given time, can pick apart a defense.

Orchard is a three-sport athlete, and that carries to the football field. He is an excellent mover, navigating the pocket well, throwing well on the run, and making off-platform throws. His delivery is compact, his ball placement is precise, and he throws a good intermediate to deep ball. He gets to his second and third reads and throws his receivers open. He’ll be tasked to lead Provo deep into the postseason.

Orchard climbs 35 spots and lands inside the top 100, at the 97th-ranked prospect and the QB16 of the class. He has a good arm, throws a good deep ball, and isn’t afraid to stress the defense and dot it all over the field. He’ll look to lead Provo to a deep postseason run and a shot at the 4A state title.

Orchard has a nice compact delivery and throws with good zip on the ball. He throws with a nice tight spiral, moves well around the pocket, and makes good throws on the run. When his footwork is good, he makes all the necessary throws you want to see. Orchard has good arm talent, and as the session went on, he got more comfortable and was best on the day when he was asked to move and throw on the run. Big final year ahead for him as he’ll look to take Provo on a deep postseason run.

Orchard returns under center for the Bulldogs after throwing for 2,000 plus yards and 26 TDs last season. Has a slow wind-up delivery that gives the ball a tight spiral with speed. Arm strength to deliver the ball downfield. Accuracy to hit his receivers in stride and shows ball placement on short and long routes. Mobility to move around the pocket, scramble and throw on the run. Orchard has the size, arm and athletic ability to be a Pro Style or Spread QB at the next level.

Orchard has good size and frame for the position, showcases good pocket movement, and is good at manipulating the pocket. He is a mobile athlete who can extend plays and move the chains with his legs. Orchard keeps his eyes downfield when scrambling and displays an accurate arm with good ball placement. He has good arm talent and can layer his throws. Orchard will get to his second read and will survey the entire field. He’s a player that should get looked at by regional programs.
