About Gavin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Aggressive RB/CB. I give it all I've got and then some. I play fast off the football working to get outside. Once I do, I'm gone. Current Kingsley Football 40m record holder 4.44

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I've played football since I was 8. My love for the sport has grown every single year. I give my all with everything I do. I'm a team leader and help lead my team on the track and football field. Voted Team Captain 2025.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Big team leader. I played both JV and Varisty in 2023, while working to the State Championship. In 2024, our team beat the school record in one game with rushing yards. I accounted for 256 yards. I've played team sports my whole life and enjoy being my best for my team. I enjoy working in the community and helping others. I volunteer my time with the football team every fall to help clean up.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My life has been full of challenges. I don't let that stop me. It makes me stronger. I work every day to be better than I was yesterday

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for the next level playing football or running track.

Gavin has some great highlights at Kingsley. A running back in the Power T, Gavin earns a ton of inside run opportunities. Plus, he has the speed to outrun most defenders and the IQ to perfectly follow his blocks. Gavin is more of a slasher than he is twitchy, but Gavin still has good vision and does what he can to cut and weave through defenders. He even has a few good kick returns, showcasing his very efficent running style. Lastly, there’s a few defensive highlights, further showing good physicality.

When it comes to Division 6, Gavin is a star player. This offseason, his athletic traits will likely make or break his potential college recruitment.
