Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I have a strong football IQ. I am a QB who can be a pocket passer, but I have a good ability to escape the pocket and can scramble and throw accurately on the run. I work well under pressure and can make quick decisions.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a level-headed, logical person with a growth- mindset mentality. I am disciplined and resilient and work hard to reach my goals. I have quiet confidence and practice humility. I'm reflective and able to accept feedback in order to develop as a person, teammate, and leader. I work hard in all aspects of my life to improve and evolve as a person and a player every day.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am a member of DECA. I competed at the state level in Boston this year. I am an active member of my church and a member of my church's youth group. I received the Principal's Award for academics, leadership, character, service, and perseverance this past year. I'm an honor roll student. play club sports, ref games in town, and work at my town's sports center.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Leadership, work ethic, communication, teamwork, empathy, critical thinking, and resilience are the major skills I have focused on and continue to develop. I use my experiences, opportunities, and obstacles in life, at school, and in sports as a way to develop these skills and shape who I am becoming. I also volunteer through church and town REC Dept., which allows me to use my skills to give back
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
One recent challenge I've faced was when I sustained a shoulder injury during a varsity football game this past season. I worked hard to earn a starting QB position as a freshman and this injury forced me to sit out the remainder of the season. Since then, I have been determined to overcome this and focus on healing, working hard academically and athletically, and coming back stronger.
What type of college are you looking for?
I'd like to attend a college that is a good fit for me academically and athletically. This would include dedicated teachers and advisors, a strong coaching staff, and training facilities, a supportive and competitive atmosphere. I am also looking for a college with a strong sense of community and pride in their school. I want a college that will support my growth and prepare me for my future.
