About Gabriel

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with a sense of urgency and knowing what down it is and what the score is and how much time is left on the clock I read the offense and see what there going to run based on the film I watched on the previous night and when on offense i read the defense to see the weak spots in that defense to tell the coaches what is best to run based on how the defense reacts

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality in a game is do your 1/11 because football is about teamwork and if you don’t have teamwork you don’t have a team that can thrive and win games I believe that if everyone does there 1/11 that will win games not one star on a team or the one defense its every player on that field working together to go beat the other team up.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am joining a program called best buddies it is a after school program where you can go and meet people with mental disorders I do it to meet new people and meet the families of the people I’ve meet and how there lives are different from mine.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Football taught me a lot about leadership and i like being the leader i like to bring my team together and hold them accountable for each other, its like being a general in the army and my team is my men I lead into battle.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Biggest obstacle I face are the mental battles after the losses im still learning to control the emotions and fix the body language I show to my teammates and people in the stands and Im working towards fixing my way of thinking going into different problems not just in football but in life and in class.

What type of college are you looking for?

All i want to do is play football yeah playing d1 is great but football is the real love and thats what i want to do for as long as possible.
