Stat Line: 15/15, 222 passing yards, two touchdowns
Yes, you read that right, Gabe had no incompletions last Friday against Wahpeton and when you roll the tape, the difficulty of some of the throws he made makes that stat line even more impressive. I don’t think there is an uncommitted 2026 quarterback in this North Dakota class that has better chemistry with his receiving core than Gabe does, and I watch a lot of quarterbacks every week so that says something. He can sling in on all three levels and even since summer his arm velocity looks stronger especially out of the pocket. If I was a D2 recruiter looking for a great senior eval at the quarterback position, Gabe has it in my eyes.

In his 11AA debut against Devils Lake, Gabe showed off why he is one of the biggest 2026 quarterback stockrisers we have in this North Dakota class. He went for 206 total yards (172 pass, 34 rush) with three touchdowns offensively for the Vikings in their 42-12 win over Devils Lake. The poise Gabe possessed was evident, not just inside of the pocket but outside of the pocket too with some of the throws he made last Friday night as you can grasp quickly the chemistry he has with power four target

. He elevated the Vikings offense with high efficency and also logged an interception on defense for the now 11AA powerhouse. Gabe is surely one that these first three games could elevate his recruiting trail in my eyes.

Gabe is another quarterback that I feel elevated into our top-tier group amongst the quarterbacks in his Dakotas Showcase showing in Aberdeen on Saturday. Gabe started off by IMO being one of our top testers amongst the QB group popping out especially with his 9’6 broad jump and near the top of the group in the 40-yard dash, pro agility and L-drill as well. The 6’0 nearly 180 pounder from powerhouse Kindred, showed off faster and more fluid mechanics with into progressions than what I saw in December as I also felt Gabe was more efficent on all three levels than he was in December. I loved watching Gabe’s timing on his throws progress, even just a bit from December as one of his top skillsets he has. Gabe should surely gather some attention over the coming months on his recruiting trail as Gabe is one of my top risers in this QB grouping.
