Luke has been our consesus #1 overall prospect since this 2027 class launched a couple years ago so we have had a sound grasp on what the 4-star athlete from Kindred has brought to the tables for a few years now. He’s the most agile defensive end in the entire Dakotas for a reason and wastes no time at attemping to show it on his junior tape as Luke can get across the to the other side of the play in the backfield and make it look like clockwork. with his soft hands and movement. The speed he is able to generate off those soft hands is extremely damaging when he constantly getes into the backfield. You will see him on tape at three positions (DE, TE, and OL) but without a doudbt defensive end looks like his best fit for the next-level. Dozens of P4 offers for Luke already and I am sure he’s not done yet.

The Vikings are 4-0 and ranked #2, earlier in the season, they took down AAA Horace by a score of 34-32. Starcevic is a monster on defense, a great blocker on O, and a sure-handed TE. Luke has 17.5 tackles (6 TFL’s). On offense, he has 9 catches for 214 yards, and 2 TD’s. Starcevic is a major college recruit with offers from big-time programs all across the nation. In bball, he is a tough, strong, and efficient low-post.

He has absolute blasting hands off the snap and is another one in our top 10 that is super rangy getting out of the inside box to go make a tackle with all the physicality he offers consistently. His athletic movement processes like a man amongst boys in the defensive trenches as he is super fluid with his athletic movement. Watching some OL tape from Luke, his strides are super long to get down to pull-block on the other side of the line quickly. Huge summer upcoming for Luke for sure.
