, who wasn’t rostered in the initial print out a the UWEC Big Man OL/DL Mega Camp, but Hagel made his presence known through his play in the padded, multi-faceted and situational camp setting. With the striking blew helmet and distinguishably-visible logo, Hagel had a powerful, reinforced, solid frame that looked like it could have played multiple positions on the gridiron, in a good way. He was one tough customer during 1v1s, using that thick upper body and those big feet, quick feet in a clean, consistent, and effective pass set that could gain both depth and width depending on the situation. Those big, burly, heavy hands, not to mention the sturdy and powerful base, were an effective combination when he dropped his anchor and absorbed contact from power rushers coming from the 5T or wider, and he also won a couple Drive Comp reps in impressive fashion. Don’t sleep on Watertown-Mayer going into 2026.

The other 2027 to find his way onto this list, Hagel, is primed for a breakout junior year. Hagel is a returning two-way trench starter who primarily plays center on offense, but has the versatility to play down the line. He makes great use of his stout build and is a force when pulling. After he gets in motion, Hagel does a great job of keeping his eyes on the linebackers and blocks well in space once he engages them. He plays low and runs his feet through contact, both amazing traits I hope he continues to develop.
