Expert Analysis
Josh White | Prep Redzone Scout
Robertson’s film has made him one of the biggest playoff stock-risers in the state. As a two-way athlete who plays his best when the lights are the brightest. While Routinely high-pointing the ball with standout body control and displaying a elite wide catch radius- Robertson has proven he can be a playmaker as a receiver with natural tracking skills.
He also presents Straight-line speed threatens leverage in routes and is a hard to contain in space- with just enough wiggle to create after the catch. Defensively, that same skillset translates — 30+ career INTs speak for themselves. Ball-hawk by nature, playmaker by habit.

was one of the most productive defenders in the state last year, totaling 9 INTs on top of several PBUs. He has really good instincts on the outside, allowing him to stay under control while receivers try to work him off-platform. He has enough footwork as well to match and mirror. He showcases some long strides, allowing him to stick on the hips of WRs as he carries vertically. As you could imagine, he finds the ball well, picking it off the hip of WRs and also coming unattached to the receiver to make a play on the football. He is willing as a tackler, firing downhill and upending ball carriers in space. There are more physically gifted DBs in the state, but the ability to be around and impact the football translates, and that’s exactly what

is a tall cornerback who can use his height to disrupt passes at the line of scrimmage or challenge receivers for jump balls in the end zone. He has good ball skills and can make plays on the ball both in coverage and when blitzing from the secondary. His physicality makes him an effective run defender as well.

is a super dynamic playmaker for Wadley that has made a ton of impacts in all three phases of the game, but especially at defensive back where he is a lockdown ballhawk in coverage. Robertson is excellent in their secondary and has some terrific athleticism he uses to his advantage when matching up against wide receivers- he never gets beat deep, doesn’t allow any separation, and is able to bait quarterbacks and to make plays on the ball on a very consistent basis. Throughout his sophomore season, Robertson had a terrific year where he was one of the top interception leaders in the state- on the season he totaled uprn33 tackles (27 solo, one for loss), 10 interceptions, and one forced fumble he recovered. In addition to his work on defense, Robertson racked up a ton of stats on both the offensive and special teams as well, making him an all around weapon. Keep an eye on him going forward, he’s an exciting prospect to watch!
