He isn’t a speed demon but he gets off the ball well and is a savvy route runner who can change speeds effectively. Wooton can line up outside or in the slot and is effective on in-breaking routes. He has strong hands, absorbs contact well and can find holes in zone coverage. Wooton is a solid open field blocker as a receiver and should have a bigger role in Foothill’s offense this coming season.
