The first thing I noticed about Thomas was the type of ball he throws. He’s got an easy over-the-top release that doesn’t typically let the ball float when he’s going downfield. He can drop the ball over the shoulder as well. While I don’t recall seeing his intermediate work, I did like where he’s at with his hip rotation and keeping his shoulders square when rolling out. He’s also a much better athlete than people would expect when first looking at him, which could add some layers to the offense. He’s someone who can do some damage on the ground, and I’d like to see them utilize his full skillset moving forward.
